EziTCP Toolkit

Active-COM designs and develops innovative connectivity component software solutions for use in business applications. These software components can be used in applications to provide connectivity between different networking environments such as Systems Network Architecture (SNA) and Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and different operating system environments such as Windows, Unix and MVS.

These connectivity components allow your business applications running on the desktop workstations or within a Web browser to communicate with remote systems to retrieve and update data.

Active-COM tools are designed to work on Windows 3.x (16-bit) as well as Windows NT and Windows 95 (32-bit) environments.

EziSNA Toolkit
The EziSNA toolkit consists of a collection of modules that greatly simplify the development of SNA (LU 6.2) Advanced Program-to-Program Communications (APPC) Transaction Programs (TPs) for the Microsoft Windows environment. The tools facilitate the development of 32-bit SEND and RECEIVE TPs which can be accessed from 16-bit and 32-bit Windows environments as well as any other SNA LU6.2 environment such as IBM Mainframes or AS/400.

The EziSNA toolkit can be combined with our EziTCP Toolkit to provide cross-platform information exchange between TCP/IP and SNA environments.

EziTCP Toolkit
The EziTCP toolkit is a collection of useful software components (ActiveX controls and DLLs) that provide hight level Windows Sockets (Winsock) compliant TCP/IP functionality to applications. The EziTCP toolkit greatly simplifies the development of Client/Server applications that communicate over TCP/IP.

The EziTCP toolkit currently consists of the following modules:

ACTCP: Provides TCP/IP Client and Server messaging
ACFTP: Provides FTP file transfer functionality.

These modules provide support for developing both Client and Server side applications.
